Dear Resident
Good evening to you all from the Four Oaks and New Hall Neighbourhood Teams
On this set of shifts your neighbourhood teams have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks
We have been carrying patrols in Mere Green, Walmley and Wylde Green retail areas deterring shoplifters and removing a beggar in Walmley.
Four Oaks Neighbourhood
Theft of Motor vehicle Four Oaks Railway Station – Saturday 13th June at 16.30hrs a Grey Jaguar E Pace was stolen by unknown means. Cremorne Road – Wednesday 17th June at 00.00hrs a Black Jaguar by unknown means. Dower Road – Wednesday 17th June at 03.00hrs a Blue Toyota Rav 4 by unknown means.
New Hall Neighbourhood No burglaries or Theft of motor vehicle reported.
If you do own a keyless entry vehicle, please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch (always remember to check your Faraday pouch is still working), when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.
For more crime prevention advice go to www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/ or www.securedbydesign.com Please remember to lock all windows and doors, do not leave keys in your doors, especially if you have a cat/dog flap, before heading out make sure your home looks like someone is in.
Speedwatch A speed watch was carried out on Lichfield Road, Mere Green. The majority of vehicle were keeping to 30mph, only 4 vehicles were recorded exceeding the speed limit.
